Abstract: The article assesses and analyzes the process of carbonic acid corrosion at the facility for the development of Achimov deposits. History of development of low-permeability reservoirs in the Krasnodar and Stavropol regions is reviewed. Presented the main technological parameters of the object, the degree of aggressiveness of the Achimov gas. Composition of formation gas of Achimov deposits was analyzed. Scheme of well production collection on the well pads is analyzed. Results of corrosion activity monitoring are presented; the areas not subject to inhibitor protection by design pipelines are identified. Solutions for protection of the section for which there is no permanent supply of corrosion inhibitor are shown, disadvantages of the method of inhibitor injection by means of a mobile pumping unit are considered. Conclusions about current methods of inhibitor protection are made, the corrosion inhibitor used at this site is considered. Vector of modernization of inhibitor protection for this object was determined. Combating carbon dioxide corrosion is an urgent topic, as more and more promising fields with carbon dioxide in their raw materials are introduced. Effective application of methods of protection of pipelines and equipment from carbon dioxide corrosion, which allows reducing economic costs for repairs and increasing safety of personnel in the workplace.
