Abstract: It is proposed substandard coal reserves concentrated in the areas of fields with Tersinskoe complicated mining and geological conditions in Kuzbass,economic district to work out by method of underground gasification with simultaneous extraction of valuable and toxic elements. Technology not only allows to obtain combustible gas, but also valuable chemicals, impurities often found in fossil carbon, - rhenium, arsenic, mercury, selenium and platinum.
