Abstract: Restraining the technologies development for mining of thick steeply inclined coal seams is hampered, among other things, by the lack of high-performance treatment facilities. The development and application of the "bord gate support" type technological equipment, which ensures the mining technology implementation such seams with the release of sub-floors by drifts, is an urgent scientific task of the mining industry. A promising option for mining technological equipment for steep layers under floors with release, as well as high-speed driving, creating effective domestic treatment and driving complexes is a mechanized walking support. The work is devoted to the development of a walking support module experimental sample control system by matching the control timing signals to ensure uniformity of the thrust in the absence of flow dividers by timing control signals. Work has been carried out to experimentally establish the correct time intervals for the output of each hydraulic cylinder to ensure uniform lifting of the sections during the thrust. A unevenness histogram of the hydraulic cylinder rods motion length with an equal total valve opening time is presented. Full-scale experiments have been carried out to establish a sequence of digital control signals that ensure the sections discharge and thrust in timing mode. Time dependences of the cylinders discharge and thrust graphs are obtained and the corresponding sections actual relative positions of the mechanized walking support experimental sample sare shown. The experimental data ensure uniform discharge and thrust of sections in timing mode, make it possible to programmatically ensure the operation of a mechanized walking support for mining thick steeply inclined coal seams, as well as high-speed driving, to implement a full-size support sample for testing at an experimental site of mine.
