Abstract: The storage of waste from the production of diaphene FP at the KAO "Azot", Kemerovo, as of 2008, covered an area of 1.13 hectares and was stored in a sludge storage facility on the territory of the enterprise, while the mixture contains substances of the second hazard class. In 2024, for waste of this hazard class, such storage is a violation. Therefore, the issue of recycling is relevant. In order not to harm the ecosystem, enterprises need to properly organize the collection, storage and disposal of all types of existing waste. The authors carried out a visit to the waste storage site and took a sample of it to select a method for further processing. Two ways of processing the waste from the production of Diaphene FP have been proposed. Temperature dependences are given, and the results of physico-chemical analysis are presented. Based on the data obtained, recommendations for further use are given. Since the waste does not meet the requirements of Solut according to TU 113-03-13-18-88 and cannot be used as a raw material for the manufacture of building materials, it is recommended to consider it as a man-made raw material for the production of sodium sulfate in the form of mirabilite. Two technological methods of mirabilite production have been proposed, which can be carried out on the territory of the enterprise using the equipment already available on it.
