Abstract: A variant of a system of low-rise mining with a face release of ore in conditions of use at deep horizons is proposed, a model is developed and a geomechanical justification of geotechnology at the stages of development of the cleaning front is given, taking into account the maximum number of influencing excavation parameters. Stress concentration fields are considered in various mining situations according to the Coulomb-Mohr and Drucker-Prager criteria, taking into account the disturbance of the rock mass. To establish the zones of possible destruction of the rock mass, the values of the adhesion and the angle of internal friction of the rocks were used, taking into account their structural weakening. It is shown that the stress-strain state formed in the structural elements of geotechnology is not critical, since the values of the acting stresses do not exceed the limits of their deformation and strength characteristics under the conditions of compression, stretching and shear of rocks. The predicted areas of rock stability losses in the area of exploited sites have been identified when the direction of the ore extraction front changes relative to the orientation of natural tectonic stresses. It is established that when moving to great depths, a critical sign of the justification of geotechnology is to accept the condition of sufficient stability of the array. The design parameters and elements of geotechnology in the conditions of the Kukisvumchorr and Yuksport fields are proposed. A complex of studies has been completed on the geomechanical substantiation of the system for the development of a low-rise building with a face release of ore in relation to the mining and geological conditions of the Kukisvumchorr and Yuksport deposits. Safe parameters for the development of a mining system with a face release of ore (in the cross and along the strike of ore bodies) and a mining front of the overlying horizon, relative to the lower one, are proposed. In cases of clarification of the physico-mechanical and deformation-strength properties of ores and rocks, as well as the lithology of the massif, during the transition of work to deep horizons, the parameters of geotechnology should be adjusted in accordance with the data obtained.
