Abstract: One of the key criteria in the development of constructive solutions for mining machines, including a geokhod, is the manufacturability of the design, which determines the possibility of effective manufacturing of the product in production conditions. The geokhod has specifics related to its blade executive body, which is the main element for the destruction of soft rocks. In this regard, it is important to take into account the influence of various design parameters, including the shape of the cutting edge, which largely determines subsequent design decisions, including the main elements of the assembly of the executive body. In this paper, the influence of design parameters (in particular, the radius of the geokhod) and the shape of the cutting edge of the blade executive body of the geokhod on the technological parameters during the implementation of two technological processes: pressure treatment (bending) and the additive manufacturing method is investigated. For additive manufacturing, the main manufacturing time (printing time) and the volume of auxiliary material are chosen as the main technological parameter. For bending technology, the calculated criterion is the bending force at different values of the geokhod radius. As a result, the dependences of the influence of the radius of the geokhod and the shape of the cutting edge on the technological parameters are obtained when using additive manufacturing and bending methods, which makes it possible to reasonably choose rational technological solutions for the manufacture of blade actuators of the geokhod. It is revealed that the semi-convex helicoid shape occupies an intermediate position in all technological parameters (bending force, support volume, printing time) and can be considered as a rational option if it is necessary to use both production methods. The helicoid shape with a funnel provides the least increase in bending effort, and the straight shape provides the least increase in support volume and printing time with SLM.
