Abstract: The modern world is changing rapidly, and adapting to these changes is one of the fundamental challenges for contemporary individuals, both on a personal level and at the level of social groups and society as a whole. The development of science and technology occupies a significant place in the process of comprehending modern realities. Significant factors determining the current pace of scientific and technological progress include economic and organizational factors (increased demand from production, development of the material and technical base for research, interdisciplinary of scientific inquiries, presence of a competitive environment, etc.), as well as social and technological factors. The immense increase in the speed of information dissemination, the application of artificial intelligence, and the digitalization of data create prerequisites for the emergence of a societal demand for integration and socialization under the conditions of the need for harmonious existence in the techno sphere. For a number of energy-producing regions of our country, the ongoing process of rethinking traditional approaches to the mining complex, taking into account environmental, social, and ergonomic aspects, is vitally necessary. At present, the need for an integrated approach in optimizing the operation of mining enterprises is becoming increasingly evident, determined, in particular, by the choice of a strategy for ensuring the reliability of mining and transport equipment for open-pit operations. In this case, the crucial criterion of economic feasibility must be aligned and adjusted both with the ergonomic criterion (man-machine-environment) and with the social situation in the region under consideration. The article examines issues of mutual integration of transport and mining systems, comparative analysis of choosing a strategy for ensuring the reliability of mining and transport equipment, taking into account current characteristics and capabilities of the techno sphere: globalization, digitalization, application of artificial intelligence both in quarry dispatching systems and in the organization of maintenance and repairs of machinery.
