Abstract: By numerical calculations safe and effective excavation of flat ore deposits was designed. The excavation is performed under conditions of advancing the front of breakage heading by the system of sublevel (level) caving and combined technology of caving and stowage. Laws of stress distribution in block massif were found out considering geological irregularities which influence the excavation parameters.
