Abstract: Regularities of lighting in mass media of the protest performances happening in the Russian Federation in 2011-2012 are analyzed. Reflection and interpretation of events are considered as collision of two media models: The pro-state – transmitting and pro-oppositional – involving. The main arguments which were offered audience by federal channels to neutralize protest moods are allocated.
